What do you currently know about Antarctica? 
Tell us what you know already without going online or to a book to find out some information.

I have enrolled our class for a virtual field trip to Antarctica and we'll be doing some research about it before we start the trip. At this point it would be great to pool our knowledge to see what we already know.

At the start of Week 5 I will give you the login and password to start researching extra information, there will also be pop quizzes to solve as well.

If we wish we can ask questions of the scientists who will actually be taking the trip.

    Antarctica has lots of different time zones it also has a lot of penguins,polar bears and sea loins. I would like to know how big is Antarctica. It would be pretty cool to know what the population of Antarctica. It would be good to find out how much animals live on Antarctica.I also know that it's very cold.I would like to find out if there is any schools there or even towns there.I would also like to find out were happy feet lives in Antarctica.

    I don’t really know a lot about Antarctica but I know it’s cold, polar bears and penguins live there and I am doing a 100 word challenge about it. I would like to know why it is cold there and how animals can live there.

    I don't really know much Antarctica but my mum really wants to go. I know that it's cold and there are polar bears and penguins but I want to how do polar bears and penguins survive in Antarctica

    I know some things about the Antarctica, like their is a lot of bears.And in winter it stays dark down there.And their is all kinds of penguins I Antarctica.

    I don't know much about Antarctica but I do know it's really cold and it has ice bergs and are polar bears and penguins. I don't know how the animals and the people that visit can survive.

    I don't know a a lot about Antarctica but I know that there is a lot of ice and water and snow and bears when you poo you have to pick it up.I'll like to know how many people visit there a year and how many people get bit by a bear a year.

    I don't know much about Antarctica but I know that there is lots of Ice and polar bears and it is very cold. I would like to know the population in Antarctica. Also I would like to know how old is Antarctica.

    I like the funny eskimos.But I also like the lights that shine once a year were cemicals mix in the atmosphere and shines diffrent colours.by the way polar bears can have more than five brothers.penguins and polar bears have dobule coats,but i like my two fluffy dogs the most!!!!!!

    I don't no much about Antarctica I only know that polar bears and penguins and seals it is cold and people make igloos to stay in.I want to know how animals stay alive and the population I also wonder if they make snow cones.

    I don't really know much about Antartica but I know it is very cold there. Some people live in igloos or in tents. I would like to know what other kinds of things people eat other than fish.
